Latest
Smoother updates and tighter security
Fixed
- Activating or updating the plugins no longer logs “translation loading was triggered too early” notices on WordPress 6.7 and newer.
Improved
- FlexWoo notices (cron not running, Pro needs an update) now appear only on FlexWoo screens, the Dashboard and the Plugins screen.
- Translations load through WordPress.org language packs.
Security
- Restricted content, paywalls and the paywall preview are sanitized and escaped more strictly.
- Data the plugin passes to other code is always sanitized first.

A FlexWoo Memberships dashboard widget
New
- See this month’s signups, trials, renewals, revenue (net of refunds), cancellations and failed payments right on the WordPress dashboard.
- Pro adds a Gifts section: gifts sold, claimed and still waiting to be claimed.
Fixed
- Tools → Cron Jobs now recognises your host’s cron job every time it runs.

Free 1.42.0
Pro 1.19.1
Razorpay support
New
- Works with FlexWoo Razorpay Payments: subscriptions whose renewals all cost the same run in Razorpay Subscriptions; others are renewed by your site.
Fixed
- Pausing or resuming a subscription from the admin — row buttons, Quick Actions and bulk actions — now pauses or resumes billing at Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay too.
- If the payment provider can’t be reached, a member’s pause or resume waits until it answers, so billing and access never get out of step.
- Paying a renewal invoice with PayPal or Razorpay never starts a second subscription.

Renewals charged by Stripe and PayPal
New
- New “Renewal payments” setting. With “Charged by Stripe / PayPal” (the default), subscriptions show up in your Stripe Dashboard or PayPal account and are billed there.
- Stripe renewals keep every price your site sets — renewal coupons, product discount rules, tax and shipping.
- My Account → Subscriptions shows how each subscription renews, and members can switch the card a Stripe subscription uses.
- Tools → Cron Jobs shows what really runs your scheduled tasks and how to set up a server cron job.
Improved
- If a webhook is missed, the hourly renewal run asks Stripe and PayPal what happened, so no renewal is lost.
- Scheduled Tasks and System Status warn when a task is running late.
Fixed
- Deleting a WordPress account also removes its member record.
- A PayPal subscription limited to a number of payments is no longer billed one payment too many.
28 September 2026
Free 1.39.0
Pro 1.17.0
PayPal saved payments and WooCommerce Subscriptions
New
- Subscriptions paid with FlexWoo PayPal Payments renew with the PayPal account or card saved in PayPal’s Vault — each renewal is a real order with its own price, tax and coupon.
- WooCommerce Subscriptions integration: a membership sold through a WooCommerce Subscriptions product follows its subscription — renewed, paused, cancelled or expired with it.
Fixed
- With a free trial, the first renewal is now charged when the trial ends.
- A plan limited to a number of payments no longer counts the trial as one of them.

Pro 1.16.0
Recurring billing built into the free plugin
New
- The renewal engine now lives in FlexWoo Memberships itself: every renewal is a real WooCommerce order with the cycle’s price, tax, shipping and renewal discount.
- Stripe renewals support cards, SEPA and other saved methods, with 3-D Secure recovery: the customer gets one “confirm your payment” e-mail with a Pay link.
- “Change payment method” in My Account → Subscriptions.
Improved
- Renewal reminder e-mails and Upcoming Payments show the coming cycle’s price, including any renewal discount.
